The room is available on a short or long-term basis, and would ideally a visitor to the area or a professional person seeking a quiet, comfortable environment. Utilities are included, except telephone.
The room is self-contained with easy access to the main front door, meaning that coming and going is easy.
On-street parking is available right outside, and free and unrestricted 24/7.
We are are a friendly bunch (!) and happy to interact with guests on an as needs basis. The living area is the owners' zone however the guest room has a TV and space to "retire" without going to bed.
Hampton is a great bayside suburb! Wonderful beaches are on the doorstep, and the main street is full of great restaurants, shops and cafes. The 3rd best coffee in Melbourne is to be found here (apparently!).
We are a convenient 10 minutes walk to Hampton Station (27 mins into Flinders St Station), 2 minutes walk to Route 828 bus which runs to Southland shopping mall, or 10 minutes walk to the excellent facilities of Hampton Street and Bayside beaches.
Sorry no smokers! Please provide own bedding. Rental & cleaning bond required - dependent on length of stay.
We have a very friendly cat, he is an indoor animal and guests are welcome to interact with him or not as they prefer - he is not allowed into the guest room!
