For sale: a Wilderness Systems Tarpon 140 Model. This kayak has been used only approximately a dozen times since purchased. This is a top end Kayak including the following:
- AirPro seat including thigh-raisers for extra comfort.
- slide lock foot brace system.
- Tankwell with adjustable bungee.
- Orbix bow and midship hatches
- slidetrax accessory system
- Self-bailing scupper holes
- Storage pockets
- Rudder (Better tracking).
Available separately is carbon swell split paddle worth ~$400, for $100.00 extra. Otherwise, I will throw in a basic paddle for this price.
The length of this Kayak is 4.27M with a weight of 31kg. The max capacity is 170kg. This is almost identical to the current 2014 model.
To purchase a brand new Tarpon without any extra accessories is $1849. This kayak is fast, tracks extremely well and is very stable. Reason for sale is I've moved to an apartment and the parents want it gone from their house, which is where I have been storing it since new!
